I recently took a trip to our cabinet manufacturer to have one of our latest designs cut. The making of our cabinets involves quite a cool process, and I thought I would share! It starts with designing the cabinet in a CAD program as a 3D model. The 3D model is then exported to the CAM software that creates toolpaths. Toolpaths are programmed files that contain a series of coordinate locations of where the tool should be cutting. The toolpath is then programmed into a CNC machine which automates the cutting of the cabinet with the use of a router. Check out the videos I took below!
